Samantha began her employment career at Starbucks at the age of 18. She worked her way up to store manager over her seven years with the company. In her early twenties, she wanted a change. She moved into the helping field, and begun working with the Salvation Army. She worked in a variety of positions over three years, including accounting and Human Resources.

After a family event, Samantha found her calling. She quit her job to go back to school full time and obtained her diploma in Community Social Services. Samantha begun working at Together We Can in 2016. In 2018 she became a Certified Addiction Counsellor. Samantha works front line and one-on-one with clients in helping them process their life events and helping them find themselves again. Samantha’s passion for helping others is brought to life, when she is able to see someone find their smile and purpose. Samantha’s compassion, empathy and attention to detail, ensure her clients receive the best care. Samantha uses a variety of therapeutic modalities as each client is unique.

Samantha started with Facilitating Changes in 2018. Her unique set of skills sets, helps the team ensure the clients receive the possible care and attention. Samantha is currently working on her Bachelors of Psychology and in March 2019 she will become a certified Non-Violent Crisis Interventionist and teacher.
