Rory has lived through the extreme highs and lows of addiction. He was derailed by a sports injury in his late teens and found himself aimless and lacking purpose for years until he entered recovery nearly a decade later. He has helped numerous families and individuals access inpatient treatment services and has dedicated himself to personal development and education. Rory has completed his Basic Counselling Course Certificate and is working towards his addiction counsellor certification through VCC. He is also in the process of obtaining his CCRC (Certified Canadian Recovery Coach) designation. Rory has transformed his life by committing to a healthy and active lifestyle. His story is featured in a Canadian Screen Awarded and nominated international documentary, “Handle with Care.”  

Today, Rory lives a meaningful life and enjoys being an active and present dad who leads by example for his two sons.
