Rob Has been a sober coach with facilitating changes since 2020. He enjoys working closely with clients and watching their progress and growth. Rob is kind and compassionate in his approach with client. He himself has struggled with addiction issues since a teenager. He has been clean and heavily involved with recovery since 2010. Rob knows that working with the client where they are at in life is often the best approach.

Rob has worked in various recovery organizations since 2010.  He started as a volunteer in the downtown east side of Vancouver and is presently employed with Together we Can since 2016 as a Case Manager and Counsellor.

Rob has completed his addictions counseling certificate from VCC in 2019. He has a CCAC (Canadian Certified Addictions Counsellor) designation through the CACCF.  He has certificates in Addiction care and treatment and provincial opioid addiction treatment and support through UBC CPD. He also has certificates in Addiction Medication through the British Columbia Center on Substance Use. He has done courses on non-violent crisis intervention, relapse prevention, motivation to change, working with criminal offenders and various other addiction related topics. Rob prides himself on furthering his education and is usually enrolled in some type of schooling.
